This Account & Data Deletion Policy explains how users of Sanchara can deactivate their accounts, request permanent deletion of their personal information, and understand what information may be retained after an account is deleted.

Revoke Public Emergency Profile links.

2. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their Sanchara account at any time.
Account deletion can be initiated:
Through the application (when available).
By contacting our support team using the contact information provided at the end of this policy.
Deleting your account will deactivate your access to the Services.
2.1 What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When your account is deleted:
Your account is marked as inactive.
You can no longer sign in using that account.
Your profile becomes unavailable for normal use.
Your active sessions are terminated.
Your Public Emergency Profile access token is revoked, making previously shared public links inaccessible.
Certain information may continue to be retained as described in this policy.
Account deletion does not automatically result in the immediate permanent removal of all associated information.
3. Permanent Data Erasure
If you would like your personal information to be permanently erased rather than simply deactivating your account, you may submit a data erasure request.

After verifying your identity, we will process your request in accordance with applicable laws.
3.1 Information Eligible for Permanent Deletion
Subject to legal and operational requirements, permanent deletion may include:

Personal profile details.
Emergency profile information.

User preferences.
Authentication information.
Personal identifiers associated with your account.
Where technically feasible and legally permissible, this information will be permanently removed from our active systems.
4. Information That May Be Retained

Where practical, personally identifiable information associated with deleted accounts will no longer be displayed to other users.
5. Backup Copies
Deleted information may continue to exist in secure backup systems for a limited period.
Backup copies are retained solely for:

Backup data is securely protected and is not used for normal operational purposes.
6. Public Emergency Profile
Deleting your account automatically revokes your Public Emergency Profile token.
This means:
Existing public links immediately stop working.
Previously shared URLs become invalid.
No additional information can be accessed through those links.
Please note that information already viewed, copied, downloaded, or recorded by third parties before deletion cannot be retrieved or erased by Sanchara.
7. Processing Time
We aim to process deletion and data erasure requests as promptly as reasonably possible.
The exact processing time may vary depending on:
Identity verification.
Complexity of the request.
Legal requirements.
System maintenance.
Technical considerations.
If additional time is required, we will inform you where appropriate.
8. Identity Verification
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may require verification of your identity before processing requests related to:

9. Withdrawal of a Deletion Request
