Safety & Emergency Guidelines for Sanchara

Your safety is our highest priority.

Sanchara is designed to help you plan trips, coordinate with fellow travelers, share your location with trusted members, and make important information available during emergencies. While these features can improve travel coordination, they are not a substitute for your own judgment, preparation, or emergency services.

Please read and follow these guidelines whenever you use Sanchara.

1. Travel Responsibly

Every journey is different, and conditions can change quickly.

Before starting your trip:

Plan your route in advance.

Check weather and road conditions.

Ensure your vehicle or equipment is in good condition.

Carry sufficient fuel or charge.

Inform someone you trust about your travel plans when appropriate.

Keep your device adequately charged.

Always follow local laws and traffic regulations.

2. Stay Focused While Traveling

Never allow the use of Sanchara to distract you while driving or riding.

For your safety:

Do not operate the app while actively driving.

Pull over safely before interacting with the app.

If possible, allow a passenger to operate the app during the journey.

Use voice features only when they can be used safely without reducing your attention.

No destination is worth compromising your safety.

3. Navigation Guidance

Sanchara provides navigation and route information to assist your journey.

However:

Roads may be closed unexpectedly.

Construction zones may appear.

Temporary hazards may not be reflected.

Local restrictions may change.

GPS signals may occasionally be inaccurate.

Always:

Follow official road signs.

Obey traffic authorities.

Use your own judgment when navigation guidance appears unsafe or incorrect.

4. Live Location Sharing

Live location helps trip members stay connected throughout a journey.

Keep in mind:

Location updates depend on GPS availability.

Internet connectivity affects update frequency.

Battery-saving settings may delay updates.

Dense urban areas, tunnels, forests, and mountains may reduce GPS accuracy.

Location information should be treated as an aid for coordination, not as a guaranteed real-time representation of a person's exact position.

Only share your location with people you trust.

5. Weather Awareness

Weather can change rapidly, especially during long-distance travel.

Although Sanchara may provide weather information and alerts:

Forecasts can change.

Severe weather may develop unexpectedly.

Different weather providers may report different conditions.

Before beginning your trip or entering hazardous areas, consult official weather authorities and local advisories whenever possible.

6. Emergency Features

Sanchara includes emergency-related features to help you share important information when it may be needed.

These features may include:

Emergency contacts.

Emergency profile information.

Public Emergency Profile links.

Emergency notifications (where supported).

These tools are designed to assist communication and preparedness.

7. Sanchara Is Not an Emergency Service

Sanchara does not replace emergency responders.

The application:

Does not contact police on your behalf.

Does not dispatch ambulances.

Does not dispatch fire or rescue services.

Does not monitor emergencies continuously.

Does not guarantee that emergency contacts will receive notifications immediately or at all.

If you are facing an immediate emergency, contact your local emergency services without delay.

8. Keep Your Emergency Information Updated

Your Emergency Profile is only helpful if it is accurate.

Review your information regularly, including:

Emergency contacts.

Blood group (if you choose to provide it).

Medical conditions (if you choose to provide them).

Allergies (if you choose to provide them).

Current medications (if you choose to provide them).

Other information you decide to make available.

If your circumstances change, update your profile as soon as possible.

9. Public Emergency Profile

Sanchara allows you to generate a secure public link to your Emergency Profile.

Before enabling this feature:

Review the information you have chosen to share.

Only include information you are comfortable making available through the link.

Share the link only with trusted individuals or where appropriate.

Revoke and regenerate the link if you believe it has been shared beyond your intended audience.

Once information has been viewed or copied by another person, Sanchara cannot retrieve or erase those copies.

10. Battery and Connectivity

Several features depend on your device remaining powered and connected.

For the best experience:

Keep your battery sufficiently charged.

Carry a power bank during long trips.

Enable location services.

Allow the app to run as required for active trips.

Ensure mobile data or another internet connection is available when using real-time features.

Loss of power or connectivity may affect live tracking, notifications, and other real-time functions.

11. Respect Fellow Travelers

Travel is a shared experience.

Please:

Respect the privacy of other members.

Share locations only with permission.

Avoid distracting drivers or riders.

Communicate respectfully.

Report safety concerns responsibly.

A positive travel community depends on mutual respect.

12. Report Problems

If you discover:

Incorrect navigation information.

Unsafe routes.

Application issues.

Security concerns.

Suspected misuse of emergency features.

Please report them through the available support channels so we can investigate and improve the platform.

13. Personal Responsibility

Sanchara is a tool to support your journey—not to replace your judgment.

You remain responsible for:

Your personal safety.

Your travel decisions.

Following applicable laws.

Assessing road and weather conditions.

Choosing safe routes.

Deciding whether it is safe to continue your journey.

Always prioritize safety over convenience.
